Sunday School is an integral training ministry of New Covenant Church. The Elders and parents of our congregation share a vision and commitment to providing Bible training that encourages our young people to learn of God and grow to cherish His infinite value.

As leaders and parents we are jointly devoted, as a Covenant Community, to seeing our young people become saturated with the Word of God, grow to treasure Jesus and learn to become fully satisfied with Him as Lord over all creation.

Our goals for Sunday School are that our children are:

• Guided to Christ,
• Challenged to live God-centered lives, and are
• Encouraged to grow in grace and use their spiritual gifts to glorify God.

At New Covenant Church we use the Children Desiring God (CDG) curriculum. This resource is designed to “equip the body of Christ to spread to the next generations a passion for the supremacy of God in all things, for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ.”

We’ve found this teaching resource to be consistently God-Centered, age appropriate and accessible by children of various ages.

Sunday school Time and Classes:

Children’s Sunday school occurs during our Congregational “Learning Hour,” from 9:30 am until 10:15 am.

We have three Sunday School Classes, where children are placed in classes, according to their ages:

• Kindergarten and 1^st Grade Class
• 2^nd Grade and 3^rd Grade Class
• 4^th and 5^th Grade Class

The leadership and teachers of New Covenant Church’s Sunday school are devoted to providing a nurturing environment for our children and are dedicated to working alongside the parents in leading children to become faithful followers of Christ.
